I was in a relaxed mood when I visited, so I wasn’t too bothered, but I did notice that some areas felt a little cramped while others were perfectly fine. Overall, it was a bit of a mixed experience.

Visited last weekend and I’ve got to say, the animals looked genuinely well looked after. Their spaces were clean, and the keepers seemed really gentle and patient with them, which was nice to see. I’m usually the type to side-eye places like this and wonder what’s going on behind the scenes, because you never really know, right? But from what I could see, everything felt above board. Left feeling surprisingly good about it.

The staff were friendly enough overall, but a few of them seemed too busy to really help when I needed something. What bothered me more were the little policy loopholes that make it easy for them to avoid actually fixing an issue. Everyone was polite, sure, but politeness only goes so far when you’re basically being told, “Sorry, that’s just the policy.”

Just a heads-up for anyone checking this place out: the toilets were spotless too, which says a lot about how well they keep everything maintained.

Had a good visit to Twycross Zoo overall. The animals were great to see and the layout was easy enough to get around, so it made for a nice day out. The only downside was the food prices, which felt high for what you actually get. We ended up paying more than expected for lunch and drinks. The food was okay though, and we still enjoyed the day. If you’re going with kids, I’d probably bring a few snacks with you

The animals were out and easy to see, which was really great. The kids loved it and had a really fun time walking around and checking everything out.

There were queues, queues for sure, so that part was a little annoying. But the place was clean enough and felt well kept overall.

I went to Twycross Zoo last weekend and it was actually an okay day out. There were some lovely animals to see, especially the monkeys, which were probably the highlight for me. That said, I did feel like the variety could have been better, and a few sections felt a bit samey after a while. For the ticket price, I guess I was expecting to see a few more different animals. Still, it was a nice enough walk around and not a bad visit, just not amazing.

I can't say I didn't have a great experience, the customer service was lovely. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made the whole thing feel easy.

Took the kids to Twycross Zoo i felt a bit misled by what I’d heard beforehand about parking being a hassle. We arrived and there were plenty of spaces, plus it was really close to the entrance. It made getting everyone out and started so much less stressful than I expected.

Took my two kids to Twycross Zoo and, the play areas were probably the biggest hit of the day. They kept wanting to go back in between seeing the animals, which says a lot. The outdoor areas had loads for them to climb on and run around, and it had a really relaxed, safe feel without me feeling like I had to hover over them constantly. It didn’t feel chaotic or badly thought out, which I really appreciated. There was a nice mix for younger and older kids too. We managed to sit with a coffee while they played, and it just made the whole day feel easier. By the time we got home, they were absolutely worn out, so I’d call that a win.

We visited Twycross Zoo and I was really impressed by how much focus they put on conservation, rather than it just being about looking at animals. The information boards were clear and easy to follow, and it really felt like they care about protecting endangered species. The kids had a lovely time too. Some crowded spots were a bit avoidable if you went around them later, but overall it was a really nice day out and felt good knowing our visit was supporting something worthwhile.

We mainly went for the keeper talks, but it was frustrating. We could barely hear what was being said, and the talk times seemed to change from what we’d seen earlier, which made it hard to plan anything. It felt like the terms or schedule kept shifting on us once we were there. The animals were lovely to see, but overall it just didn’t feel worth the trip for us

The zoo itself was ok, but the food really let it down for me. For some reason, the chips and burger we paid quite a bit for were both cold and tasted like they’d been sitting around for ages. The kids barely touched theirs, which was frustrating considering the price. Staff were fine enough, but i expected better.

We took our two kids to Twycross Zoo and had a really nice day. It was easy to get around with the buggy, which makes such a difference, and there was enough to see and do without the kids getting worn out from too much walking. They especially loved the monkeys, and the soft play area was a great bonus when they needed a change of pace. To be fair, it wasn’t perfect — the food queues were quite slow, and a couple of areas did look like they could do with a bit of a refresh. But overall, we felt it was a fun, family-friendly day out and good enough that we’d happily go again.

We got the membership this year it’s been really worth it for us. We’ve already gone a few times, so I’m sure it’s basically paid for itself by now. I kind of feel like that’s what they’re hoping for with the pricing, but in this case it actually works out in our favor. It’s nice being able to just pop in for a couple hours and not feel pressured to see absolutely everything in one visit.

It was a smooth visit. The paths were clear, and the toilets were easy to find, which is basically all anyone ever needs in places like this.

I went to Twycross Zoo at the weekend thinking it was going to be absolutely packed, but it actually been alright. There was a bit of a queue to get in, but it moved quick and the staff was keeping things simple. Even the food queues wasn’t bad around lunchtime, which surprised me. There was plenty of space to walk about without feeling crammed in. Really nice day out overall, I’d definitely go again...

The animals were definitely the best part, and the kids enjoyed seeing them up close. But the signs were either missing or so basic that they didn’t really explain anything beyond the animal names. I also couldn’t tell who was actually responsible for the exhibits or upkeep, which made it feel like nobody really owned the experience. We had fun, but the kids didn’t learn nearly as much as I was hoping

We had a decent day at Twycross Zoo and the kids enjoyed seeing the animals. For some reason though, the ticket price felt a bit steep for what was there, especially once you add food and parking on top. It wasn’t a bad day out at all, I’m just not sure it felt like great value overall
